<p><strong>Ngày 21/11, ông Lê Đức Thọ - Phó Giám đốc Bảo tàng tỉnh Quảng Trị cho biết, trong đợt tổng điều tra di vật, cổ vật và nghiên cứu lịch sử, khảo sát văn hoá các làng, xã trên địa bàn, nhóm nghiên cứu của Bảo tàng đã phát hiện dấu tích tháp Chăm.</strong></p>

<p><br>Tháp Chăm được phát hiện thuộc khu đất của 2 gia đình ông Nguyễn Đăng Hải và ông Nguyễn Đăng Trường (xóm Giàng, làng Đông Hà, nay thuộc khu phố 3, phường 3, TP Đông Hà).<br>Ngôi tháp này đã bị sập từ rất lâu nay chỉ còn lại nền móng nằm dưới Hòn Giàng (phần tường bị sập xuống của ngôi Tháp). Ngôi tháp Chăm trước kia có tường và trụ dày 0,5m, cao 1,5m được xây bằng những viên đá phiến thạch và gạch Chăm.</p>
<p>Phần nền móng ngôi của tháp nằm chìm dưới những viên đá táng chân cột của ngôi Miếu Giàng được xây dựng theo lối kiến trúc bằng bộ khung gỗ, gác lửng, có 4 chân cột. Đây là kiểu kiến trúc điển hình của đền miếu người Việt vùng Trị - Thiên có từ thế kỷ XVIII</p>
<p>Phía Đông ngôi Miếu Giàng khoảng 10m, nhóm nghiên cứu còn phát hiện hai Linga Chăm hình trụ có đỉnh khum tròn vừa phải (Linga thứ nhất có chiều cao 14cm, đường kính 11,5cm; Linga thứ hai cao 15,5cm, đường kính 12,5cm) nằm trong một am thờ.</p>
<p>Hai Linga này đều làm bằng đá sa thạch mịn màu nâu xanh, phía dưới của mỗi Linga có dấu vết vỡ ra từ một phần khác nhưng còn lưu lại một vài dấu vết của bề mặt phẳng ngang của khối liền kề chứng tỏ hai Linga bị vỡ ra từ hai bộ Linga-Yoni nguyên khối.</p>
<p>Nhóm nghiên cứu cũng phát hiện xung quanh mô đất Hòn Giàng một hào sâu khoảng 1m, rộng 1m kết cấu bằng gạch Chăm. Như vậy, cồn đất giữa miếu Giàng và Hòn Giàng là địa điểm chính của một ngôi đền tháp Chăm.</p>
<p>Theo ông Thọ, những dấu vết hiện còn lại của ngôi tháp Chăm đã làm sáng tỏ thêm nhận định của các nhà khoa học về hệ thống đền tháp Chăm dọc theo lưu vực sông Hiếu từ trước thế kỷ XIV (khi vùng đất Quảng Trị còn thuộc vương quốc Chămpa).</p>
<p>Hệ thống đền tháp Chămpa này là trung tâm sinh hoạt văn hoá, tôn giáo của một hoặc nhiều grama (làng) trong cộng đồng người Chăm trước kia.</p>
