</div></div><p>Đạo học là một thuật ngữ bao hàm những ý nghĩa kép. Có một ý nghĩa là đạo và một ý nghĩa là học. Đạo theo nghĩa chữ hán là con đường, song đồng thời cũng lại là một từ ám chỉ tâm linh mang ý nghĩa của một tôn giáo. Học là học nhân cách, học lễ nghĩa, học để sống. Đạo học được đề cập ở đây là vấn đề giáo dục.</p>
<p>Mặc dù cuốn sách <em><strong>Nho giáo đạo học trên đất Kinh Kỳ của nhóm tác giả Nguyễn Mạnh Cường, Nguyễn Thị Hồng Hà </strong></em>đề tài viết về Đạo học trên đất Kinh kỳ (Thăng Long – Đông Đô – Hà Nội) nhưng tác giả không chỉ khoanh gọn mang tính giới hạn của một địa phương mà còn coi mảnh đất Kinh kỳ này là một trung tâm giáo dục đào tạo tiêu biểu cho cả nước và một khu vực lớn nên có nhiều người tuy không phải sinh ra ở đây mà chỉ là bằng nhiều cách, có thể là con nuôi, có thể là theo gia đình lên học và đỗ đạt tại mảnh đất này nên vẫn tính là người thuộc đất Kinh kỳ.</p>

<p>Nội dung cuốn sách gốm 8 chương trình bày về các vấn đề nho giáo, đạo học ở Việt Nam trước những cú huých của lịch sử, vụ nghi án hồ Dâm Đàn, cải cách Hồ Quý Ly hay con đường định mệnh của Nho giáo, về Văn Miếu Quốc Tử Giám là trường đại học đầu tiên của Việt Nam, về chế độ thi cử nho giáo trên đất Kinh Kỳ, các tiến sĩ nho học còn lưu danh trên đất Kinh Kỳ, và đề cập đến vấn đề đào tạo sau đại học.</p>
